About the role
As senior design engineer for our MV portfolio, you own the electrical and mechanical design of PIX, AMC, and MCM switchgear from tender through to factory acceptance. You are the technical authority customers across the Kingdom rely on, translating SEC and Aramco specifications into type-tested, arc-proof assemblies built on our Madinah floor.
What you'll do
- Lead the electrical and mechanical design of MV switchgear projects, from single-line diagrams to fully detailed manufacturing packages.
- Act as the senior technical contact for Saudi customer accounts, leading design reviews and customer-facing engagement.
- Supervise factory acceptance testing (FAT) and resolve technical queries through to handover.
- Own protection coordination and ensure every assembly meets IEC 62271 and project-specific requirements.
- Mentor junior design engineers and uphold Schneider Electric licensed-build standards.
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5–10 years of MV switchgear design experience, ideally with PIX, AMC, or MCM platforms.
- Deep knowledge of IEC 62271, protection coordination, and type-test requirements.
- Experience with SEC and Aramco specifications is a strong advantage.
- Fluent technical English; Arabic preferred.
